The 2009 MBA Spring Meeting date coincides with the UMAGA Spring Gift Show weekend again this year, so that you can take advantage of both events!
All events take place at the Park Plaza Hotel Bloomington.
Our 2009 MBA Spring Meeting will bring you education sessions and events that we know you’ll find valuable. Take advantage of timely bookseller education workshops. Pick of the Lists presentations by our participating sales reps will tell you what’s hot. Register for lunch and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere in which to network and discuss issues and ideas with your fellow booksellers and reps. Meet our special guest authors from our region at the reception, too.
Owners, managers, and staff – all will benefit from sharing indie bookseller energy, so bring as many people as you can!
The Midwest Booksellers Association Executive Director Susan Walker, Assistant Director Kati Gallagher, and our MBA Board of Directors all look forward to seeing and talking with you at the meeting.
Accommodations: MBA has reserved a small block of guest rooms at the Park Plaza Hotel Bloomington at the rate of $89/night + tax (13.9%), single or double. Reservations for these rooms may be made, based on availability, until 3/14/09. Make your Park Plaza Hotel reservation by calling 952-831-3131 or 800-814-7000.
