Twin Cities, MN (April 03, 2017) — Eighteen independent bookstores across the greater Twin Cities area are banding together in celebration of Independent Bookstore Day on Saturday April 29, 2017, with the Twin Cities Independent Bookstore Passport. The passport uses bookstore coupons, literary prize packs, and the work of celebrated local artist Kevin Cannon to celebrate local indie bookstores, and encourage customers to visit as many of the 18 stores in one day as they can.
Passports will be available to pick up at any of the participating bookstores and feature original illustrations by Kevin Cannon of CannonMaps.com.
On April 29 only, customers will visit participating stores and get a stamp in their passport that activates the store’s coupon. The more bookstores a customer visits, the more prizes they are eligible to receive.
