Advertise on our website, through direct email to our membership, and/or in our weekly Heartland Indie Bestseller List. Our website receives nearly 30,000 visits per year and 60,000 page views, where you can advertise to the industry or the general public. Our dedicated title emails go to the owners, management, and staff at our 200 member bookstores. Our weekly Heartland Indie Bestseller List goes to more than 1,500 recipients throughout the industry.

MBA currently offers three main types of advertising opportunities on our website and our communications with our member stores. Don’t see exactly the advertising program that suits you best? Please contact us. We will create a customized package.

• Banner ads in our weekly Heartland Indie Bestseller List emails. These are delivered via email marketing to our full membership, booksellers, members, and others in the book industry every Wednesday.
• Banner ads on our website
• Dedicated e-mail to our member bookstores. Most frequently, publishers use this to focus on an individual title, but you can promote any bookselling-related information.

In addition, publishers and vendors can advertise in our trade show program. Publishers also can promote titles to the public by featuring them in our Midwest Connections regional marketing program and/or our winter catalog.

Banner ad production and design

• Custom ad design is available. Our webmaster will provide you with a cost estimate in advance. Extra time is needed for production. Please check with us in advance.
• We reserve the right to approve or reject advertising.

• Submit artwork in jpeg format and supply URLs for pertinent link(s) to be set up from the ad to your website(s).
