1. Membership in the Midwest Author Directory: $60 annually
If you are a Midwest-based author looking to maximize your visibility among MIBA's member bookstores, as well as to other regional authors and to the larger book industry community, we encourage you to purchase a listing on our Midwest Author Directory. Our member bookstores will use this to invite authors to participate in readings, author events, book festivals, and other engagement opportunities.

Authors currently residing in or originally from North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan are eligible. Once we have processed your application, we will send an invoice for your membership, payable online or by check. All authors listed in our directory must link to independent bookstores on their website, from pre-sales to on-sale. Read all about that below, and pleasure ensure your compliance before asking to join the directory.
