Neighborhood Reads is an independent community bookstore and gift shop located in a charming renovated historic home in Downtown Washington, Missouri. Washington is a historic German community on the Missouri River, west of St. Louis. Neighborhood Reads carries new books for readers of all ages and interests, as well as cards, candles, puzzles, games, journals, kitchen goods, plush toys, and so much more. Our location a few blocks off Main Street allows for plenty of parking while still being a part of the historic Downtown business district. Neighborhood Reads is open seven days a week.
