Rooted MKE

Rooted MKE is a BIPOC Children’s bookstore and literacy center offering handpicked, titles either written or illustrated by people of color, or depicting protagonists of color. We strive to showcase a wide range of characters who are multifaceted and offer opportunities for youth to engage meaningfully with books to further literacy comprehension skills and vocabulary acquisition skills.
