Justin Shukuru is a Twin Cities-based author, speaker, and entrepreneur. After relocating to Minnesota, Justin turned his personal journey of overcoming exclusion into a blueprint for resilience. His debut book, I Wasn't Invited, I Showed Up Anyway, explores the power of showing up for yourself when the world doesn't offer an invitation.

Currently pursuing his MBA at Metropolitan State University, Justin is passionate about community building and the vital role independent bookstores play in the local ecosystem. He is available for book signings, author talks, and community events throughout the Midwest.
