Event Details
Atria Intersections is an employee-led initiative that spotlights forthcoming books written by authors of color within the Atria group, including our sub-imprints One Signal, Primero Sueño, and Washington Square Press.
Our Fall 2025 theme is Resistance, in all its forms, personal and communal, and includes the following six titles:
THE PEOPLE’S PROJECT by Saeed Jones and Maggie Smith,
FIRE IN EVERY DIRECTION FIRE IN EVERY DIRECTION by Tareq Bacon,
STITCHING FREEDOM by Gary Tyler,
UNBEARABLE by Irin Carmon,
ALL WE WANT IS EVERYTHING by Soraya Chemaly, and
DETENIDO by D Esperanza and Gerardo Iván Morales.
Please join us for a virtual event with our authors on August 13 at 2 PM EST, for an hour-long conversation on art and generational resistance. The authors will be in conversation for 30 minutes, with time for audience questions at the end.
