Welcome to Willa's Closing Sale and Retirement Party! Join us at Willa's Books and Vinyl for a day filled with nostalgia and great finds. This in-person event is your chance to snag some amazing deals on books before Willa rides off into the sunset of retirement. Come celebrate Willa's years of dedication to the community and browse through our collection one last time. Don't miss out on this bittersweet event!

Since August 2024, when The Kansas City Defender announced their initiative to 'Preserve Willa's Books and Vinyl', the community has fostered much intimate and financial support for Willa and her legacy. Her passion-based achievement has made and maintained Kansas City's story. For that, we invite you to offer your time and treasure in service of a collective good. Join us on Saturday, July 12th, at Willa's Books and Vinyls as we celebrate Willa's retirement with storytelling, two archive vendues, and Willa's favorite tunes.
