Professional Bio
Ever since learning to read at the age of 5, Melissa has had her nose in a book. Her favorites from childhood that hit the nostalgic sweet spot are Junie B. Jones and the New Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley. With a background in performing arts and costuming, Melissa has worked in various costume shops across the Twin Cities. From there her career path includes technology companies, marketing jobs and most recently Excelsior Bay Books. Melissa views independent bookstores as pillars of a community that help people grow into the best versions of themselves.
