Ever since she first cracked open a book at age four, Melissa’s been happily lost in fictional worlds—starting with the shenanigans of Junie B. Jones and sleuthing alongside Mary-Kate and Ashley. A former costume shop technician with a love of all things theatre (thanks to her background in performing arts and costuming), she’s since swapped sequins and feathers for spreadsheets and social media. This includes navigating careers in tech, marketing, and now, the vast world of CPG with General Mills. Melissa believes indie bookstores are more than just cozy corners for book lovers—they’re community catalysts where curiosity is fed and people become their best, most well-read selves.
