2026 Wisconsin Indie Bookshop Quest

Running from June 1 to June 30, bookstore customers can pick up a map at participating stores and earn chances to win prizes by visiting other stores and completing tasks. Winners will be selected by random drawing, with each store visit giving you an extra chance to win!

How It Works

Pick up a Quest Map at any participating store starting June 1st. Visit as many stores as you like. Turn in your map for a chance to win.

I. Get Your Map Starting June 1st, pick up a free Quest Map from any of the 35 participating indie bookstores across Wisconsin. No purchase required.

II. Visit Stores Visit participating stores and have the staff mark the store visit on your map. Each store visit earns one entry into the prize raffle.

III. Complete Quests Earn bonus raffle entries by completing Side Quests such as meeting bookstore pets, attending a bookstore event, and more.

IV. Turn In & Win Drop your completed map at any participating store by the end of June.

Bonus milestone: Visit ten stores and you'll receive a free audiobook from Libro.fm, no raffle required. Ask a bookseller for the redemption code when you reach your tenth store.

Side Quests

Beyond simply visiting stores, these four special challenges earn you extra entries in the prize raffle.

Wizard's Counsel +1 Level

Ask a bookseller for a book recommendation.

The Explorer +2 Levels

Visit two participating stores that are more than 200 miles apart.

Tavern Talk +1 Level (up to 3×)

Attend a bookstore event, a book club, launch party, reading, or similar, at any participating store. You can earn this bonus even at stores you've already visited, and complete it up to three times.

Companion Collector +1 Level

Some bookstores have resident animals. Meet three bookstore pets on your travels to earn this bonus.

Every store visit and completed side quest is another chance to win. Winners of gift card prizes may choose any participating store to receive their gift card.
