Event Details
The Midwest Black Book Fair is meant to honor their stories of the resistance and uplift intersectional narratives of Blackness, Black history, and Black futurity. It is held in Black August, which is a month-long commemoration dedicated to honoring Black abolitionists, freedom fighters, and political prisoners. We are the stewards of these stories. This family friendly event will feature Black book vendors, Black authors, book signings/readings, writing and publishing workshops, Black food vendors, and more!
