We've streamlined our registration and accounting processes for 2026 so are no longer using Eventleaf. This site is now where you register to attend Heartland Fall Forum.

Everyone must be logged-in to register for Heartland Fall Forum.

Booksellers must be a member of MIBA, or GLIBA, or both to attend. A bill for membership(s) will be created and sent to you if your membership is not current. If you are in a state that both MIBA and GLIBA serve, we will reach out about your membership options.

All exhibitors must be members of both MIBA and GLIBA to attend. If one or both of your membership(s) are not current, a bill for membership(s) will be created and sent to you.

Heartland Fall Forum is the premiere gathering for those interested in doing business with independent bookstores throughout the Midwest. Hosted jointly by the Midwest Independent Booksellers Association and the Great Lakes Independent Booksellers Association, Heartland is unique in regional bookselling shows because we come together from separate bookselling organizations to make one large Midwestern community.

We represent 12 states and over 800 independent bookstores, from the Dakotas to Ohio, from the bootheel of Missouri to the tip of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and all states in between. Our booksellers form the backbone of literary culture in the Heartland. 

We provide a rich environment for anyone allied to the book industry to meet one another, network, introduce authors, promote new titles, place orders, and learn crucial skills from one another to keep independent bookselling strong. We offer a busy show floor, a wide range of author events, and various formats of practical and inspiring education. 

Location:

All Heartland programming, except the Bookstore Bus Tours and Opening Night Party, will take place at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center: 30 South 7^th Street, Minneapolis MN 55402.

Lodging:

We have reserved a block of discounted rooms at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center Hotel.
